New Final Fantasy VII Remake Screenshots Will Make You Wish It Was 2020 Already

Square Enix just released some brand-new Final Fantasy VII Remake and this game continues to look better than ever, making us wish it was already March 3, 2020. There's no denying how gorgeous this game looks and the fact that it's an updated remake of the original JRPG, with an option to go to a slightly classic battle system, this game is going to please a lot of people and is primed to be a bestseller.

We get updated looks at some of the game's core cast (Aerith and Barret), some of the supporting cast (Biggs, Wedge, and Jesse), along with high-res photos of The Turks. Seeing not-Axl a.k.a. Reno and Rude look this good is something we thought would only happen in films like Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, so there's no doubt that the visuals will keep making us happy.

Yes, it's still slightly disappointing that the game will be divided into multiple installments, meaning that Final Fantasy VII Remake will only detail Cloud's time in Midgar, but Square Enix did promise that each game would feel like a full-fledged Final Fantasy. I'm definitely down to learn more about Biggs, Wedge, and Jesse before they bite it (spoilers?) so expect to cry a lot and have a box of tissues ready.

As of this writing, Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to come out on March 3, 2020, for the PS4. There are rumors of an Xbox One and PC port but no official news has been revealed.
