Netflix Removes 'Intergalactic Sociopath' From Avengers: Infinity War Description

In, what has to be, the oddest bit of censorship ever seen, Netflix has decided to edit their summary of Avengers: Infinity War and remove the part that calls Thanos an "intergalactic sociopath." This should please fans who didn't like Netflix using a word they didn't understand and the trolls who claim that "Thanos is right lol," not to mention those edgy kids who think "Thanos makes more sense" than the Avengers.

But...why though?

Sure, Thanos isn't technically a sociopath since he does understand emotions and is in full control of his actions but it's not like he's a good person. The fans who are "outraged" or "triggered" by this description need to get a life since Thanos is a bad dude no matter how you slice it.

Admittedly, some fans were probably just upset at the word's usage since Thanos did clearly care about his goal and daughter Gamora. Of course, there are those who felt that Thanos was a fairly relatable villain with a quest that a lot of people could relate too, given how overpopulation has affected some countries.

Keep in mind, however, that Thanos also made his daughters fight each other and dehumanized whoever lost, namely Nebula, who didn't want her sister to feel the same pain. Thanos also did not care for Nebula, claiming that killing her would be "a waste of parts." Father of the year.

If you're upset about Netflix's use of the word "sociopath" then fine. But if you were upset over the fact that they would be doing Thanos an injustice for calling him that, grow up. Thanos isn't above being mistakenly labeled since he is an evil man.

Avengers: Infinity War is now streaming on Netflix.
