My Hero Academia Goes Plus Ultra With a Second Movie

My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was a fun movie that managed to give All Might one final moment to shine for fans, especially after the events of season three. Though it was set between seasons two and three, fans still appreciated how it gave us a bit more on All Might's past and some great action. Now that the first film is a success, fans will be happy to know that a second movie is coming out soon.

A magazine leak, which can be seen below, revealed that a second My Hero Academia film is in development, though nothing else was revealed. All we get is a teaser image of Midoriya and Bakugo holding a sign about the second movie, which is similar to how the first film was advertised.

While the first film was really fun, some would argue that the animation could have been better. No, it didn't look ugly, but it looked like it didn't stretch the show's budget. When you consider how good Dragon Ball Super: Broly looked, it's clear that My Hero should step up a bit. Granted, My Hero is a better-looking series than Dragon Ball Super but that's another story.

The film should be great news for fans, especially since the fourth season of this beloved anime is also expected to come out this year, albeit a bit later than usual. Considering how good the first three seasons are, let's hope that the new movie blows our socks off.

My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is now available in digital outlets, with the Blu-Ray release coming soon.
