Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Spoils Its Secret DLC Character

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Shadow of Doom comes out later this week and fans are excited to finally get a new story to play through, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge. It's clear that Doctor Doom is going to be a big focus here, possibly being the main villain of the extra story. I mean, the extra story is called Shadow of Doom so it's not a surprise that the classic villain will take the villainous spotlight.

However, it seems like Marvel Games got too excited to share new details about the DLC since they recently revealed some costumes for the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom. That's right, Doctor Doom is going to be the game's fifth playable character, which ruins the surprise for many who were hoping to be surprised.

Since Doom is a major villain, we're going to assume that Doom will need to be unlocked via Infinity Trials, ala Thanos in the main campaign. We'll be surprised if he becomes playable right away since the character is going to be a villain for us to fight. Granted, the game does have Venom, Loki, Magneto, and the aforementioned Thanos as playable characters so adding another villain was inevitable.

A new story and one more playable character than previously announced makes Shadow of Doom the best Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC. We can't wait to try it out for ourselves when it comes out on March 26. Fans can only play all of the DLC by purchasing the Expansion Pass.
