Marvel Editor-in-Chief Teases More Dramatic Stories With #MarvelSummerofSecrets

When the spoilers for X-Men Gold #30 were released, fans were disappointed but unsurprised at Marvel's actions. The same thing happened recently with DC fans, as that company also went up and spoiled Batman #50. It seems like this is only the beginning, for Marvel at least, as C.B. Cebulski, the editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, has revealed that there is more to come.

On Twitter, Cebulski revealed that the shocking ending to Marvel's "wedding of the century" was only the beginning. Sharing the hashtag #MarvelSummerofSecrets, Cebulski promised more twists, turns, and cliffhangers from Marvel comics. Funnily enough, he did not tease a new event, something the company has been synonymous with in recent years.

Stories like Infinity Wars and Extermination have yet to come out, though the latter is being teased with post-credit scenes and the former has a prelude event called Infinity Countdown, which will set up the events of that story. If this Tweet means anything, we can probably expect something big to happen in these stories, along with other comics.

This month will have the debuts of Captain America #1, by Ta-Nehisi Coates and Leinil Yu, and Amazing Spider-Man #1, by Nick Spencer and Ryan Ottley. Can we expect some twists for those issues as well?
