Mario Kart Mobile Game Expected to Release This Year

Let's-a go! Mario Kart has always been a game many people play to rekindle friendships, then destroy them completely. While fans had the excellent Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on their Nintendo Switch to enjoy, many are looking forward to the mobile game, Mario Kart Tour, which will be coming out soon. Just in case fans need a reminder, Nintendo confirmed last year that the game would be coming out in March this year.

That's right, this March. We're only two months away from the release of this game, so here is hoping that we will be getting a quality title that many will enjoy. This will be the fourth mobile game the company releases after Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Dragalia Lost. While the games aren't as acclaimed as they could be, they are pretty solid time-wasters, especially Super Mario Run.

Mario Kart has a big reputation and has inspired many other games, including Crash Team Racing and Diddy Kong Racing. Granted, not all of the games this title has inspired is good, look at the recent Nickelodeon Kart Racers, but that's what you get when you try to emulate greatness.

Details on Mario Kart Tour are still pretty slim, though we can assume that this will be a paid mobile game with a free trial period. Granted, they might go the free-to-play route but we'll wait and see.

Mario Kart Tour comes out this March.
