Kit Harington Hasn't Seen The Final Game Of Thrones Season But Comments On Its Controversy Anyway

Somehow, someway, Game of Thrones won an Emmy for Best Drama this year and fans do not know how to feel about it. While there are people who defended the final season, most viewers don't have nice things to say about the poorly written final season but the series somehow won another Emmy. Unsurprisingly, the show's actors have been asked about it and John Snow actor Kit Harrington has decided to share his thoughts.

Despite not watching the final season.

In an interview with Deadline, Harrington had a big speech about how the controversy surrounding the final season hasn't affected them. The actor also discusses how hard Harrington and his fellow actors worked for this final season. While we're going to highlight the fact that he hasn't seen Game of Thrones' final season, here's what Harrington had to say:

"Controversy. I still haven't seen the show, so that's how I dealt with that controversy. I haven't seen the final season, but I know what it took to shoot it and it was hard, and everyone put their love and effort into it. Controversy for us — we knew what we were doing was right story-wise and we knew that it was right for the characters because we lived with them for ten years. Controversy for us — didn't really affect us."

While we admire how Harrington is defending his work, the actor should probably see this final season before saying anything. Yes, he did act out his scenes and knows the creators more than us fans but him not seeing the show and defending it makes Harrington sound ignorant. It'll be interesting to see how he answers this question in the future.

Game of Thrones will soon be available in HBO Max.
