Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind is Getting a New Trailer This Month, New Features Detailed

It's been a while since Square Enix updated us about the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC, which is supposed to fill some story gaps that the main game couldn't tell, while also giving players new moments to play through. While it looks like the acclaimed RPG is going to miss its Winter 2019 release, unless they're planning to stealth drop it, a recent concert for the game has finally unveiled some new details.

Compiled by Eurogamer, the most interesting fact revealed is that there will be a new Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind trailer later this month. Fans have been waiting for the longest time for this DLC, though the release of Critical Mode did soothe things over. The fact that it was hard as a brick also helped since the main campaign was pretty easy prior to the mode being added, even in Proud Mode.

Other details revealed for the game include an updated Photo Mode that lets you pose Sora, along with his various teammates and enemies, for some fun pictures. Slideshow Mode lets you customize the various pictures you took and, as the name suggests, make a slideshow. This should be really fun, so expect fans to upload these to YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter.

Fans more interested in gameplay have Fast Pass Mode and Black Code to look forward to. Fast Pass makes the game even easier, letting Sora one-shot most of the enemies he faces. Black Code allows players to adjust the game's rules to make things harder, like the amount of HP Sora can have.

As someone who completed Kingdom Hearts 3 earlier this year, these improvements do make the game more fun and maybe even worth a replay. I'm in the party who enjoyed the game since it also has its fair share of haters.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is now available on PS4 and Xbox One.
