Keanu Reeves Reportedly Doubles Commitment to Cyberpunk 2077 Due to Personal Enjoyment

While fans are going crazy over Netflix's The Witcher, which will be coming out this December, CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 is still a long way away. Despite that, fans will always compare both games since they were developed by CD Projekt Red and it will be interesting to see if Cyberpunk 2077 gets a series or movie in the future, especially since Keanu Reeves is playing someone in the game.

Apparently, Reeves enjoyed his time so much in the game that he reportedly double down on his commitment to it. This is according to an Italian voice actor who dubs Keanu's character if players choose to listen to the game's audio in that language. The voice actor is Luca Ward and he told the audience in Lucca Comics and Games event that his workload has doubled due to Keanu's enjoyment (via Gian Luca Rocco of TGCOM 24).

CD Projekt Red has yet to confirm if the news is true so we'll leave this one out as speculation. Still, wouldn't it be cool if Reeves agreed to do more for the game simply because he liked to work on it? That would be pretty rad in my book and makes Reeves cooler than he already is, which is an impossibly high bar.

If we see more of Reeves in the game that would be great but let's not get our hopes up. Even if we don't, the Cyberpunk 2077 is looking like one hell of an open-world title, with dazzling visuals and some open-ended gameplay that calls for endless replayability.

Fans will be able to pick up Cyberpunk 2077 on April 16, 2020.
