Fans who invested in the Injustice 2: Ultimate Edition can now download the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the game. Of all the characters in the game, there's no doubt that the TMNT were the most anticipated DLC fighters, along with Dark Horse character Hellboy. Gamers that haven't picked up the Ultimate Edition can download the TMNT on February 20 for US$9.99.
A previous gameplay trailer showed that each member of the group has a unique fighting style. It seems like the group's main ability is to switch with each other or call one member for some sick tag-team moves. Players will be able to choose which characters they can start with, so fans who want to use their favorites can do so with no issues.
Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael might be the last set of DLC characters for Injustice 2. Revealed alongside The Atom and Enchantress for Fighter Pack 3, the Turtles' inclusion was a huge draw for fighting game fans and might have inspired some to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition.
Injustice 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Fans can get the Ultimate Edition for all of the game's Fighter Packs.
