How The Russos Responded When Asked to Direct Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame

After their work on Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, it made sense for Marvel Studios to have The Russo Brothers work on their two biggest films; Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, originally called Avengers: Infinity War Part II. Considering how Endgame is officially the top-grossing film around the world, it's a good thing Marvel decided to get these two to work on their movies.

Unsurprisingly, when the two were asked to direct Marvel's biggest movies ever, the two dropped an F-bomb, but in a positive way. No one would have blamed them for dropping a negative F-bomb since working on movies like these must be terrifying and stressful but the two managed to deliver some of the best MCU films we've ever seen.

When they were asked about their reaction from Kevin Feige's offer, the duo had this to say (via their Reddit AMA):

"Kevin, and co-president of Marvel Studios, Louis D'Esposito, asked us to swing by their offices while we were in post on Civil War. The conversation, in short, was, 'Guess what. We want to make the two biggest films ever made and we want to shoot them back to back. And we want you guys to direct them.' Our response -- 'Fuck yeah.'"

Both Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War are now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital platforms.
