Gal Gadot Comments on Wonder Woman 1984 Delay

Although it took a while, DC and Warner Bros. have finally decided to delay Wonder Woman 1984, which had already been delayed back in 2019. Instead of the movie's June 5 release date, the highly-anticipated sequel will now come out on August 14. While this is a bit depressing, most of us expected this since it seems like the Coronavirus will still be around till June and beyond.

Gal Gadot, the star of this movie, has commented on its delay and she tries her best to keep our hopes up, just like Wonder Woman would. She gives us a nice little message that no one can hate, which is kind of amazing when you consider that the actress was a part of that awful video where a bunch of tone-deaf celebrities singing Imagine to make us feel better. Apologies for the tangent but it needed to be said.

In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all.

Honestly, we're just glad that this movie has already been shot so that we won't have to worry about these actors doing anything else for a while. Granted, we're sure most of these people have other projects in the pipeline but given how COVID-19 has become a worldwide epidemic, it's best for them to stay home.

Wonder Woman 1984 will now be coming out on August 14.
