Funimation is Bringing Back the One Piece English Dub

One Piece is 20-years old and one of the best anime/manga franchises out there, which no one will argue about. Even those that don't like One Piece can't deny how popular it is and the fact that the anime is over 500 episodes is impressive. Sadly, Western fans have been without a One Piece English dub for the longest time but that's about to end since Funimation has confirmed that more dub episodes are coming.

Thanks to a video from Colleen Clinkenbeard, who voices Luffy in the dub, and Justin Cook, the director of the production for this series, we now know that the One Piece English dub will pick up with the Punk Hazard arc and move forward from there. This dub has a long way to go, especially with the main anime already moving past 900 but it seems like Funimation is pretty determined.

Funimation always has wonderful dubs, from Dragon Ball Super to Fullmetal Alchemist and My Hero Academia, so this is very good news indeed. Hopefully, this will lead to more One Piece media getting an English dub since the video games haven't been voiced in English for the longest time.

It's worth noting that before the announcement, it was revealed that there will be a One Piece: Stampede English dub. We should have looked at this as some sort of foreshadowing since this is the latest One Piece movie but color us surprised. Hopefully, they get all of the dub episodes out in time.
