Fortnite X Star Wars Brings Stormtrooper Costumes to the Epic Game

What's more popular than Star Wars these days? Well, Marvel movies, Pokemon, and Dragon Ball, if you ask most millennials. However, if you ask the children, then the answer is going to be Fortnite from Epic Games, now known as Fortnite Chapter 2, which continues to be the most popular free-to-play video game out right now. The game just gave Star Wars fans a reason to check it out since Stormtrooper costumes are now available for a limited time.

If you're hoping to grind for it, you better do it quick; the deal expires on November 17. You have to wonder why they even bothered making a CGI cutscene, though they could always add them back when another Star Wars-related event comes. Currently, there are only two ways to get the Stormtrooper skins in the game: Pay 1,500 V-Bucks, the in-game currency, or buy Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the Epic Games store.

Jedi: Fallen Order is also on Steam but if you're expecting this deal to expand there, you're kidding yourself.

Unless you've been playing Fortnite regularly, you're going to have to pony up some cash if you want to be a stormtrooper in Epic Games' epic game. This is only for hardcore fans since these are just cosmetic and won't really affect gameplay, though unlocking cool skins is a cool part of the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Fortnite are available now on PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
