Former Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Director Praises Bryce Dallas Howard's The Mandalorian Episode

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow was supposed to direct Star Wars: Episode IX, later called Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker but it wasn't meant to be, though he will get a writing credit. As we wait for Trevorrow's Jurassic World 3 and wonder what Episode IX would have been like under his vision, we can at least give him props for praising Bryce Dallas Howard directing last week's episode of The Mandalorian.

Even though he himself hasn't seen this episode.

On Twitter, Trevorrow mentioned how The UK doesn't have Disney+ so he has yet to see an episode of The Mandalorian. However, he has heard all of the praise that Howard's episode has gotten and he rightfully believes that she knocked it out of the park. Most of the people online agree since the praise for The Mandalorian Episode 4 is currently off the charts.

Most of us are assuming that Trevorrow is praising Bryce Dallas Howard since he directs her in his Jurassic World movies. That's a bit mean and it's entirely possible that he saw her potential as a director while working with her. Either way, it's a nice gesture from Trevorrow since most of us assumed he would just bury anything Star Wars-related.

The guy isn't even keeping his The Rise of Skywalker check.

Fans can currently binge The Mandalorian and its four episodes on Disney+, with a new one coming out later this week.
