Nintendo has finally unveiled the release date of the final Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC, Shadow of Doom. As expected, the DLC is bringing the Fantastic Four to the game, along with a possible campaign that has Marvel's First Family taking on Doctor Doom. The DLC will be coming out on March 26 so fans who haven't picked up the Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass should probably do so.

Could this mean an actual story campaign with new cutscenes? Or are we just about to get another gauntlet/modified story mode? We'll wait and see.

The teaser image for Shadow of Doom gives us our first look at the Fantastic Four DLC of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Fans of the current Fantastic Four comic book by Dan Slott will be happy to see how the characters look similar to that run. We can't blame them either since Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic just looks so much better with a beard.

As of this writing, there is no gameplay trailer for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Shadow of Doom but we're pretty sure that Ben Grimm/The Thing and Johnny Storm/Human Torch will play pretty similarly to other characters already in the game. Mr. Fantastic will probably play similarly to Ms. Marvel while Sue Storm/Invisible Woman is a bit more ambiguous.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is now available for the Nintendo Switch. The first two DLC packs focused on Marvel Knights and the X-Men are now available. Shadow of Doom comes out on March 26.
