Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition Rated by ESRB

In a rather surprising move, Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition has recently been rated by the ESRB. No other information about the game has been released but it looks to be an "ultimate" edition of the JRPG, with all of the DLC and free updates that came out. With more DLC planned for the game, this version of Final Fantasy XV is going to be an interesting beast.

Paid DLC for the game includes solo episodes that spotlight Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis. There is also Final Fantasy XV: Comrades, which is a multiplayer expansion that takes place after the game's 13th chapter. Fans will be able to get all of this for US$24.99, though they could wait for this edition of the game, assuming they don't have it yet.

There is also a large amount of free DLC that came out for the game. Fans were able to get the off-road Regalia, which makes traveling around the open-world much more fun, even with the flying car that can be used after the game has been completed. Recently, an update also added the ability to switch between party members, adding even more depth to the JRPG.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming out this year.
