Fans Are Hating The One Punch Man Season 2 Trailer Due To Animation

The full trailer to One Punch Man season 2 has come out and it looks rough. Really rough. It seems like the transition between studios was a tough one and has resulted in a muddy-looking second season. Fans have had a field day with this trailer and although it could look better, at least it's not as bad as the current Berserk series (yeesh).

Most of the criticism comes from how Genos is being animated. While he was completely drawn in the first season, the latest installment now has him with a CGI body and it's an odd look. Maybe this was done so that he would stand out more in the anime and he sure does but in a bad way.

It's not just the CGI sadly, as fans have also complained about the early moments with the giant bird and some of the stiffness in the 2D shots. The number of black screens put throughout the trailer was also pretty awkward, with many feeling like it was done to hide some of the odd-looking animations. We're willing to be proven wrong of course, but things aren't looking good thus far.

One Punch Man season 2 comes out on April 9. Are you still excited for it?
