While it might not have the same name value as Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest is still seen by many as one of the JRPG greats, with the recent Dragon Quest XI proving to be an excellent title anyone can enjoy. The series also recently released a new CGI anime movie in Japan called Dragon Quest: Your Story, a retelling of Dragon Quest V that fans around the world are hoping to view in the near future.

Thankfully, it looks like fans around the world are going to get this movie soon since GameFragger discovered a listing of Dragon Quest: Your Story from Netflix, so people will have the chance to catch this gorgeous-looking movie from the comfort of their home. This should get the attention of many a weeb and we hope that this movie lives up to the high standards that the series has laid out over the years.

Unfortunately, no release date has been given, though the listing does confirm that this movie will be 1 hour and 42 minutes, which is a decent enough length. Fans can only hope that a release date for the film comes soon since this anime special has been the talk of the town for many a gamer.

It also helps that Dragon Quest V is also seen as one of the franchise’s best, which is saying a lot since the series is home to some of the best JRPGs out there. Admittedly, we wish that the movie kept Akira Toriyama’s iconic art style but we’ll take what we can get when it comes to Dragon Quest.

Stay tuned for more Dragon Quest: Your Story news. Dragon Quest XI is now available on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
