Dragon Ball FighterZ has finally released the first character trailer for Broly and we don’t mean Z Broly. That’s right, Broly from Dragon Ball Super: Broly, a.k.a. Canon Broly is showcased in this video and he looks like a tough cookie. Then again, most of the playable roster is pretty tough (that’s why they’re called FighterZ) but after we saw Broly kick Goku and Vegeta’s butt during the first Super movie - with Goku getting the worst of it - we can’t wait to play as the real Broly.

What’s interesting about this is that the character will stay in his base form for most of the fighting, turning Super Saiyan and Legendary Super Saiyan during his finishers. Most of his moves have been captured perfectly, from the Hulk-on-Loki-like thrashing he gave Goku to the awesome mouth laser done when Gogeta started becoming a threat to him.

Still, the fact that Goku and Vegeta had to fuse to take on Broly is pretty sick, don't you think?

Right now, Broly (Super) is the last character as part of FighterZ Pass 2, joining Jiren, Videl, Goku GT, Janemba, and Gogeta. We’re not sure if controversial voice actor Vic Mignogna is reprising his role from the movie after he was accused of sexually harassing his fans and fellow voice actors. He then tried to sue the voice actors and Funimation, before losing the case and basically blacklisting himself from the industry.

Currently, no release date for Broly has been released for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Expect him to come out soon, hopefully later this month or December.
