Disney+ has Officially Released the Hawkeye Opening Title Sequence

Despite all of the controversy surrounding Jeremy Renner, or maybe because of it, there is a lot of interest in the upcoming Hawkeye Disney+ series coming out. Fans have wanted the MCU to give Hawkeye a solo project for the longest time, especially after Matt Fraction and David Aja's excellent Hawkeye comic book run, and adding Kate Bishop is the cherry on top.

As we wait for Disney and Marvel Studios to cast their Kate Bishop, who probably won't be Hailee Steinfeld, Disney+ has decided to release the Hawkeye opening sequence. Clearly inspired by the aforementioned Matt Fraction/David Aja run, this is a visually-pleasing open that should make a lot of Marvel fans happy. Hopefully, we'll get more news on this series as time goes by.

The only thing we know about the Hawkeye Disney+ series is that it's set after Endgame and will introduce Kate Bishop to the MCU, with many of us hoping it will also tease the Young Avengers. Bishop has proven to be a fantastic character in the comics, whether she's Clint Barton's co-star, a member of the Young Avengers, or going solo, and we can only hope that the MCU does her justice.

Hawkeye is only one of the many MCU shows coming to the Disney+ streaming service. We already have confirmation on several shows, including Loki, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, WandaVision, and Falcon and Winter Soldier, with more shows likely to come.

Currently, Hawkeye is scheduled for a Spring 2021 release.
