It might not be the most anticipated release this year but there are some fans who are excited for Once Upon a Deadpool, a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2. This probably won't interest the older crowd who have seen the sequel already but younger fans who weren't able to see this movie can now see what all the Deadpool hype is about.
Fox has decided to capitalize on next month's release by unveiling a new poster that makes the movie feel more, for the lack of a better term, Christmas-y. We could say, more holiday-oriented but we doubt there are other religious holidays that celebrate reindeers and Santa as much as Christmas. Regardless of how you view the holidays, the poster definitely makes the film feel more appropriate for the month.
While most of us see this as a pointless cash-in to make more money, there is some incentive to check this version of Deadpool 2 out. First off, the film will have some new scenes that won't be in the previous theatrical release, including some with Fred Savage. Plus, seeing how this film will be edited for a younger audience could mean a lot of clever jokes for us older watchers.
Primarily a re-telling of Deadpool 2, Once Upon a Deadpool is expected to come out on December 12.
