Deadpool Creator Rob Liefeld Shares Early Concept Art of Colossus' Movie Look

If Deadpool and Deadpool 2 did anything right - and they did a lot of things right - those movies were able to spotlight Colossus in a fun way. While the X-Men mainstay did appear in the X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand, he didn't really do much there, especially when compared to these two movies. While Deadpool was clearly the main focus, Colossus was able to shine and he became a favorite to many thanks to these two movies.

Rob Liefeld, the creator of the Deadpool character who was consulted a lot for these films, decided to share some early concept art from the first movie. Through this, we get to see a completely different look for Colossus, which would have been a bit more faithful to his comic book counterpart. While most fans did like his final design, it was nice to see them consider playing tribute to his comic book roots.

Considering the success of Deadpool and Deadpool 2, we're surprised that a sequel has yet to be announced. Granted, the Deadpool movies are under Disney now but they did claim to be open when it comes to making a Deadpool 3. While it is expected to stay R-Rated, we're sure that Disney will want to tone down some of the raunchiness.

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are now available in digital stores.
