Dave Filoni Says They 'Have to be Careful' About Ahsoka Appearing in The Mandalorian Season 2

Ahsoka Tano has become the most important non-movie Star Wars character ever. Though she was initially hated by fans when The Clone Wars debuted, they grew to love her as he grew into a more mature and different person, even deciding to step away from being a Jedi. With rumors of Rosario Dawson being Ahsoka in The Mandalorian Season 2, the character's creator, Dave Filoni, has decided to comment on her possibly appearing in the Disney+ series.

Speaking with Vanity Fair, Filoni kept it cool and said that they need to be careful when it comes to introducing Ahsoka to The Mandalorian. Fans have very high expectations after everything they've seen from the character so you can see why Filoni, the man who has told more Ahsoka stories than anyone else, would want to be careful handling her. Anyone who has seen The Rise of Skywalker knows what happens when you're not more thoughtful.

I've done way more Ahsoka stories than I ever thought I would. It seems to be an unstoppable force at this point. I think we just have to be careful and make sure the bar is high and always tell good stories and ones that are adding to the character's depth and dimension. We'll see. But it's potential. Potential energy is always very exciting.

Filoni and everyone in Disney still won't budge about Rosario Dawson officially becoming Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2, most likely since they want a lot of fans to pop for an eventual trailer. Disney is incredibly paranoid about spoilers so don't expect this to become official until they officially reveal an image of Dawson as the iconic Star Wars character.
