Daisy Ridley Promises 'Brilliant End' for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to be the grand finale for LucasFilm's long-running Skywalker storyline and fans are expecting big things, especially after the controversial Star Wars: The Last Jedi. With the movie set to become a bookend of sorts for this epic saga, it's easy to see why people are pumped up for this new film, even if they didn't like The Last Jedi (though a lot of people still do like the movie).

Daisy Ridley, who has been in the start of these newer films since The Force Awakens, has promised fans during Good Morning America that The Rise of Skywalker will be a "brilliant end" to this long-running story. Wrapping up nine films won't be easy but the movie is expected to do that so fans probably have a lot of references and recurring themes to look forward to.

I have a good feeling about this.

We don't know much about the new movie and the first trailer did a great job at being vague as hell but there are a few tidbits we've been able to gather from news reports and promotional stories. The Knights of Ren will finally make their debut after being teased in The Force Awakens and being a non-entity during The Last Jedi. There will also be a bunch of new characters, along with returning heroes like Lando Calrissian.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be coming out this December.
