DC's Cyborg Movie was Supposed to Come Out Today

Does anyone remember when Warner Bros was all in with the DCEU plans Zack Snyder had in place? It seemed like things were gonna go to plan until some cancellations came due to the critical and financial failure of Justice League. Ezra Miller's The Flash is in production hell, a Birds of Prey movie came out of nowhere, and two of the cinematic universe's big actors, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, have left for greener pastures.

One of these seemingly canceled projects was Cyborg, a solo movie that would have centered on the hero after the events of Justice League. Since that film bombed big time, we have yet to see any news about the Cyborg movie, with the various actors confirming that they haven't seen a screenplay yet.

Admittedly, it's not all doom and gloom for Vic Stone since Ezra Miller's Flash did appear in the recent Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover and even mentioned Cyborg by name. With Ezra Miller previously stating that his Flash movie, now called Flashpoint, is still a go it seems like Cyborg could still have a role to play since the two characters did become friends in Justice League.

If we're ever going to get a Cyborg movie, which doesn't seem likely at this point, we're gonna have to wait until Flashpoint is done. Hopefully, interest in the character renews after that since Cyborg was arguably one of the only interesting heroes in the Justice League movie.
