Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have the Same Amount of DLC as The Witcher 3

Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming out this September and we're all hoping that the Coronavirus subsides by then so that we can all go to a video game store to pick up a physical copy. There's no shame in buying digital games but there's some form of sentimental value when you pick up a box with a video game on it so here's hoping for the best. Even with a physical release, the game is expected to have plenty of digital support via DLC and fans should expect a ton.

During a Polish investor Q and A (translated by VGC), CD Projekt president Adam Kiciński confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 would have "no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had." That's actually a lot of content when you consider all the free DLC The Witcher 3 got, in addition to the paid expansion that added two campaigns, which fans loved. Hopefully, we can say the same about the DLC for this game.

As of this writing, no details on the DLC were revealed, though Kicinski said that the extra content would be announced in a similar manner to The Witcher 3. That means they will announce the extra DLC before the game comes out, with details on the expansions coming out after the release of Cyberpunk 2077.

If things get better, we will likely get Cyberpunk 2077 in September. The game was supposed to come out this month but was delayed since additional work was needed. On the bright side, it did give fans a financial break after getting Resident Evil 3 Remake and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
