Cyberpunk 2077 Devs on How the Game is an Improvement Over The Witcher 3

Cyberpunk 2077 looks like it will be one of the best games of 2020, if not the best game in terms of scope and size. A lot of our excitement comes from the fact that CD Projekt Red also worked on The Witcher 3, which was one of the best video games to come out of this generation and is still a fun time if you haven't gotten it. Interestingly enough, the developers from CD Projekt Red have talked about how Cyberpunk will actually improve on a number of areas from The Witcher 3.

During an interview with the German gaming website Gamestar, which was translated by some fans from Reddit, where they revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will improve on The Witcher 3 when it comes to level design and more realistic NPCs, among other things. Quests will be getting a huge upgrade since they will give players multiple options to complete these missions, which couldn't always be said for The Witcher 3.

Fans who don't like their maps getting cluttered will also be happy to know that it won't be filled with question mark markers like The Witcher and pretty much every other open-world game. It might make things more difficult for gamers but that could be seen as a positive for those that want a challenge. NPCs will supposedly have their own daily routines, which could be fun to witness if they succeed in programming this.

Those are just some of the improvements made and it will be interesting to see if Cyberpunk 2077 will successfully execute them all. Here's hoping they do since the game has a lot of us excited and it would be a shame if this title didn't succeed.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 17, while the Google Stadia version is coming out in a later time.
