Cuphead Shocks Fans With Stealth PS4 Release

Cuphead is the Microsoft exclusive that keeps on giving and by that, we mean this game keeps coming to other platforms despite originally being exclusive to Xbox One and PC. The game came out on Nintendo Switch last year and performed extraordinarily on the handheld/console hybrid. Now, PS4 owners get a taste of this wonderful game as Studio MDHR has announced that the side-scrolling shooter will be available...TODAY?!

Yes, Studio MDHR has stealth released the game on PS4 consoles today so if you've been dying to check this title out, feel free to do so now. Considering how well the game ran on a Nintendo Switch of all things, we're sure that Cuphead PS4 will run incredibly smoothly, if not better than the Switch version and about equal to the Xbox One.

Like so many of you, we grew up exploring the worlds of classic PlayStation titles, from Resident Evil to Vandal Hearts. It's surreal to think about players adventuring through the Inkwell Isles with a PlayStation controller in hand!

Considering how Studio MDHR previously stated that this game would never be coming to the PS4, does this announcement prove that hell has frozen over? Then again, this isn't the first time we've seen an exclusive come to other systems. Horizon: Zero Dawn will be coming to Steam this month, while Dragon Quest XI S: Definitive Edition is going to release on PS4 and Xbox One in December.
