Concept Art for a Damian Wayne-Led Batman: Arkham Game Has Surfaced

Batman: Arkham Knight was a solid game but many felt that it was a weak ending to the acclaimed series, despite some decent storytelling and fun combat. It was mostly the overused Batmobile gameplay that derailed this game's acclaim, which is why we're all hoping for a new Batman: Arkham game to come out soon. As we wait for new information on that teased Court of Owls game, concept art for a canceled Damian Wayne Batman game has surfaced.

Simply titles as a canceled Arkham Knight sequel, we get to see a number of great character designs for the villains Damian would have faced, including Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and a female Black Mask. We also get to see a bald Dick Grayson, looking like the despised Ric Grayson from the current Nightwing run, which is neat.

Disappointingly, there is no art for the Damian Wayne Batman character model, which is a huge shame. We've already seen Damian in the Batman suit thanks to Grant Morrison's Batman run but it would have been fun to see what Warner Bros. Montreal would have designed for Damian. Considering how awesome Bruce's default armor was in Arkham Origins, a peek would have been cool.

This writer is a big fan of the Batman: Arkham games and he would love to see a new game in the series, Damian Wayne or otherwise. Thankfully, we have the excellent Marvel's Spider-Man to keep us busy until a future game is announced. Still, we really need a new Batman: Arkham game but hey, excellence can't be rushed.

Batman: Arkham Knight is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, though you shouldn't get a copy for the latter. The Batman: Arkham Collection is also available on PS4 and Xbox One.
