Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is the first Riverdale spinoff coming out and arguably one of the more interesting comic book adaptations coming out. Most fans remember Sabrina from the popular Melissa Joan Hart show that used to air, so seeing a version that focuses on horror should be of great interest. Though a release date has yet to be released, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared some concept art to tide fans over.

Aguirre-Sacasa shared the art on Twitter and it sure looks creepy. The concept art is called Woods Vision, which might be a hint towards visions Sabrina could be getting. It also looks similar to the art of Francesco Francavilla, who does art for Afterlife with Archie and covers for the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comic, which the Netflix show is based on.

Like Riverdale, this will be a darker take on the Sabrina mythos and could arguably be much more horrific than the CW take on Archie. Sabrina Spellman will still have to learn about magic, though this time she will have to choose if her powers will be used for good or evil. It sounds a bit cliche but the Lovecraftian elements that will be added should make it a bit more interesting.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be coming out next year. Netflix has ordered two seasons of the show.
