Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy is Coming to Theaters Again in Hong Kong and Taiwan

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy is often seen by many as the pinnacle of comic book movies, not because it was completely faithful to the source material but because they managed to tell a realistic and breathtaking trilogy that impacted film, in general. Keep in mind that these movies are about a billionaire who dresses like a mammal to spook thugs and has a freaking clown as his worst enemy.

Anyway...

Deadline has confirmed that Hong Kong and Taiwan will be re-releasing Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises on June 4, June 11, and June 18 respectively. These movies aren't being seen as blockbusters that will make billions of dollars but as a draw to bring back audiences to movie theaters. This is an interesting strategy, though given what's been going on in the world, I'm not sure it will work.

Still, it's good to see Warner Bros try and keep the movie theater business alive since that piece of business has had it pretty rough since COVID-19 struck. The company does have a stake in it of course; all film studios do but seeing them actively help out like this is far from a bad thing. Hopefully, movies like Tenet and Wonder Woman 1984 make their release date.

If you're not in the previously mentioned countries, The Dark Knight trilogy is now available on digital stores and maybe even DC Universe.
