Netflix has finally released the Castlevania Season 3 trailer and it's pretty exciting, giving us the new status quo for our heroes. Sure, Dracula is dead but it looks like there are still a lot of these monsters to kill, along with some of Dracula’s leftover allies who want to get revenge for their dead master. It’s exciting stuff and the fact that we have to wait a couple of weeks for it is pretty painful.

The animation continues to give us what we’ve come to expect from this show, which isn’t a bad thing. Castlevania Season 3 still has great character designs and this trailer already shows us some stellar-looking fight scenes. Hopefully, the wait was worth it and we get even more episodes of this show, which will make us appreciate the animation even more.

With season 3 straying away from what most fans know about the video games, seeing Alucard, Trevor Belmont, and Sypha take on these hordes of demons should be much more fascinating. It’s clear that the group still has to clean up the world from all the demons that Dracula brought and it won’t be easy. It will definitely be fun though, especially with Warren Ellis’ sharp writing.

Castlevania has set the bar high when it comes to video game adaptations. Sure, Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is decent and Sonic the Hedgehog seems to be getting good reviews but neither of them is for mature audiences like this Netflix series is. Hopefully, Netflix’s Resident Evil adaptation is just as good.

Fans will be able to watch Castlevania Season 3 on March 5, only on Netflix.
