Captain Marvel Comic Writer Wants to See This Character in Captain Marvel 2

While far from the best MCU film, Captain Marvel gets way too much hate from people due to some comments actress Brie Larson made that were taken out of context. It also didn't help that the movie was heavily promoted for having Marvel's first female lead and heavy feminist themes that ticked off people who hate the movement. Still, the film was solid enough and had some fun moments so a sequel is more than likely.

ComicBook.com decided to speak with Kelly Sue Deconnick, the first writer to pen Carol's stories as Captain Marvel, and asked her what characters she would like to see in a potential Captain Marvel 2. The established comic book writer said that she would love to see Tic, a supporting character from her run in the series, make an appearance.

"You know this a thing we've never talked about, but I, the Skrull, what's the Skrull's name, Talos. Talos' daughter looks like Tic to me, and I couldn't tell if that was intentional or if Tic would, yeah, that was a thing. I was like ‘Oh I love Tic, I would love to see Tic."

Fans probably won't mind the fact that they could be changing Tic's race since the Nowlians have yet to be introduced. Making Tic a Skrull wouldn't be too bad, though the fact that she's been protecting other planets does imply that we could be seeing Nowlians in the future. Only time will tell.

Captain Marvel is coming to digital services today, while the Blu-Ray comes out on June 11. No word on when Captain Marvel 2 is coming out.
