Bryce Dallas Howard Didn't Get to Work with Pedro Pascual During Her The Mandalorian Episode

The Mandalorian is currently the world's most popular show, with episodes often getting praised every time they come out and memes from the series generating faster than the eye can see. It's easy to see why the world has become fascinated with The Mandalorian, mixing up themes from the Western and Samurai genre, giving us a delicious, pulp-filled adventure in space, which is what everyone wants from Star Wars.

As most fans know, The Mandalorian Episode Four was directed by Jurassic World actress Bryce Dallas Howard, who many felt did a remarkable job. However, the actress/director has revealed that she wasn't able to direct Pedro Pascual throughout the episode. Not because he's a diva or anything like that but due to other acting duties, leading to her working with some of his stunt doubles.

Now, that doesn't mean Pedro wasn't involved at all; the man still recorded lines for his character and talked with his stunt double, Brendan Wayne, to make sure everything went well. It's an interesting story and shows just how important stunt doubles can be in the medium of filmmaking.

"[Pascal] would ask me, and I would ask him the same question, which is, ‘Why did you move like this during that moment?' We would go back and forth. The great thing about him is he's not impressed with himself. He's just an actor. And I mean that in the good way, not the bad way. He likes to learn and he likes to collaborate and he's very good at it."

Considering how well the show has been received thus far, we tip our hats off to Wayne, who did an excellent job. Hopefully, Pascual gets to work with Bryce Dallas Howard in the near future, which is likely since The Mandalorian will most definitely get future seasons, given its reception thus far.

The Mandalorian is now available for streaming in Disney +, with five episodes available and three more coming out. Episodes get released weekly so wait a little longer if you want to binge-watch.
