Black Widow Production Reportedly Delayed to June

The rumored and essentially confirmed Black Widow movie has been on everyone's radar ever since news regarding the character's first solo project surfaced. Well, it looks like the film may have hit a snag as the project has supposedly delayed its production from this month to June, which is an interesting move. Hopefully, it's nothing too big and the movie is able to come out sometime in 2020 or so.

According to Film Magazine, via Pursue News, the film's production has been delayed to June and will apparently shoot in the UK. Unfortunately, no reason for the delay was given but as long as it results in a good movie, nobody should complain. At the least, we can expect a solid time in the cinema, unless those rumors about an R-rated Black Widow movie are legitimate.

Cate Shortland will direct the character's solo film with Captain Marvel writer Jac Schaeffer taking charge of the script. Depending on the success of Captain Marvel, we could be in for a good or bad time in the movie theater. Then again, this is Marvel, so there is a good chance that this will at least have some funny jokes and cool action sequences.

Hopefully, Black Widow ends up getting a release date in the near future and we get it sometime in 2020.
