Birds of Prey Wraps Production, New Harley Quinn Photo Released

Birds of Prey (and The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has wrapped up production, which is always great to hear. Reshoots will likely take place after some test screenings and it will be interesting to see how this movie does since DC is trying to be more "fun." Since this movie will have some darker elements, we can only hope that it balances fun and violence (fun violence?) well.

Now that it's wrapped, the production crew has celebrated by giving us a brand-new image of Harley Quinn. Granted, we don't get to see Margot Robbie's face, but the image does give off the playful nature that Harley is known for. The fact that she's in the director's chair with the logo may also indicate her fourth-wall breaking like in the comics (which she got from Deadpool) but that's just speculation.

With only one teaser, a few behind-the-scenes photos, and this image, it's too soon to judge this movie. Since it's set in Gotham, it will probably be a bit dark and have some gruesome fight scenes, especially with Victor Zsasz in it. Hopefully, it continues the trend of good DC movies after Aquaman and Shazam helped turn the tide.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) comes out on February 7, 2020.
