Bethesda Delays The Elder Scrolls: Blades

Blizzard probably wishes Diablo Eternal got the same reaction Bethesda got when they announced The Elder Scrolls: Blades, a free-to-play mobile game that tries to emulate the open-world gameplay that the series is known for. Since it was announced before The Elder Scrolls 6, fans did not crap on it like they did Eternal, which was the final announcement during BlizzCon.

Sadly, fans who were excited about the mobile RPG are going to be disappointed at the fact that it will now be delayed to 2019. Bethesda confirmed the news via the official Elder Scrolls Twitter account, which states that the game will be available on iOS and Android sometime in 2019. It also states that players can still sign up for Early Access if they want to.

While disappointing, fans probably won't lose much sleep over it since this is a free-to-play game coming to mobile devices and it's doubtful that a lot of people were excited over it. That doesn't mean it will be bad and some fans even want it to appear on the Nintendo Switch, which would be cool since Fallout 76 won't be.

This could be considered yet another disappointment from Bethesda, especially after the failure of Fallout 76, but this is far from the worse thing that could happen. As long as the game has fewer bugs and awesome features, the delay should be worth it.
