Bethesda is coming to the Nintendo Switch in a big way, bringing some of their bloodiest titles to the new console. Not only is Skyrim coming out in November, but during the Nintendo Direct presentation it was announced that Doom and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus would come to the console. Doom will come out during the holiday season, while Wolfenstein 2 will be out in 2018.
Doom was arguably the best first-person shooter to come out last year, with many praising its approach to non-stop action. The game delivered on both single-player and multiplayer, so fans of both modes could have a ton of fun. While the shooter has been out for sometime on PS4, PC and Xbox One, this is the only version of the game that can be portable.

Wolfenstein 2 is an interesting choice for the Switch. The sequel to the acclaimed Wolfenstein: The New Order, one has to one why it's predecessor isn't being ported to the console. Maybe the second game will be accessible enough for newcomers, but it's an odd move to say the least. While Switch fans have to wait till 2018 to get it, PS4, Xbox One and PC owners can get the shooter next month on October 27.

It seems like Bethesda will be bringing more titles to the console in the near future, which is great news for Nintendo. While games like Mario Odyssee are fun, these games show that the console can cater to a mature audience.
