Ben Affleck is Stoked About Zack Snyder's Justice League Coming to HBO Max

After years of begging for the long-fabled Snyder Cut, HBO Max has revealed that Zack Snyder's Justice League will finally air on the streaming service next year and there are already reports about whether this will be a four-hour movie or a limited series. Either way, Warner Bros. has given Snyder a lot of money to fix whatever he needs to make this movie truly his, which might even include bringing back old actors to film new scenes.

Ben Affleck, the DCEU's first Batman before Robert Pattinson replaced him, expressed some excitement over the Snyder Cut finally happening. Kevin Smith revealed a video message of Affleck sharing his excitement over the movie that Snyder has always wanted to make. This wasn't just a film kept in a vault after all but it's good to see actors like Affleck praise this man.

Fans of Smith and Affleck are also probably happy to see these two be on friendly terms again. Smith did say a while back that there was some heat between the two a few years ago when Affleck first got the Batman role for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice but it looks like that's in the past.

"I just want to say, I'm sorry I couldn't make it on there live, but I'm very excited that Zack's getting a chance to finally see his vision realized.I think it's a great thing, I'm really excited for the fans to get to see it. And I want to say thank you to the fans, because is was their enthusiasm and their passion that made this happen. Without the fan support, I don't think it would've happened. But I love Zack, I love his version of the movie, and I look forward to everyone getting a chance to see it."

Now that we're finally getting the Snyder Cut, all we have to do is wait and hope that this was worth all the begging. At the least, it should be better than the version Warner Bros. forced Joss Whedon to make. Seriously, that movie is only slightly better than Fant4stic.

Zack Snyder's Justice League, or the Snyder Cut if that's what you prefer, will be coming out next year on HBO Max.
