The first official trailer for The CW's Batwoman is here and fans are in for quite the ride. It's definitely something fans of CW's previous DC shows are going to get into but there are a couple of noticeable differences, like the way this trailer is colored, that could make others witness this new superhero show.
Batman has abandoned Gotham and it's up to Crows Security to make everyone in this crime-filled city feel safe. Seems like they've already blundered that up with the sudden appearance of Alice, who looks primed and ready to take over Gotham. At least until Kate Kane makes the scene.
From there. The trailer seems to give us an abridged version of the first episode coming out. We see how a lot of the episode's events unfold, from Kate hunting down Alice to make sure that her girlfriend is okay, to meeting Luke Fox in Wayne Manor and discovering the Batcave. We even see her prototype costume, which doesn't have the red wig yet, though the final shot makes sure to add that.
Even with all the spoilers, this actually looks like a promising show. Granted, we have some cringe-inducing dialogue (it's the CW after all) but the action looks solid and Kate looks great in her bat costume.
Batwoman comes out this Fall.
