Batman: Hush Animated Movie Reportedly Won't Have These Iconic Voice Actors

Fans jumped for joy when it was announced that Batman: Hush is getting an animated film. The epic comic book storyline from Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee is considered by many as one of DC's very best, with some calling it a quality Batman title that any reader can pick up. Everyone has been curious about the film's cast and they might be surprised to know that two iconic voice actors might not be in this adaptation.

Revealed by Revenge of the Fans, the cast includes Jason O'Mara, Jerry O'Connell, Tara Strong, Rainn Wilson, Bruce Thomas, and Vanessa Williams. You know who isn't in it? Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, who many fans loved as Batman and The Joker respectively on Batman: The Animated Series.

This is pretty disappointing since fans loved hearing these voices but this might not be the worst news ever. Sorry to rain on anyone's parade but the last time we saw these two interact with each other was Batman: The Killing Joke and it wasn't their best work. Then again, The Killing Joke is one of the worst animated adaptations in DC Animated history so maybe the two actors weren't feeling it.

Jason O'Mara has proven to be a fairly decent Batman voice actor and it will be interesting to see who plays as Hush. Only time will tell if this is a decent adaptation but given the source material, it would be nice to see if this is one of the best ones.

Batman: Hush will be coming to Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital stores on Summer 2019.
