Chris Hemsworth May Have Hinted at Thor's Post-Avengers 4 Future

Chris Hemsworth's version of Thor has gotten plenty of praise throughout the years but it was Avengers: Infinity War that made the character incredibly sympathetic. While fans already felt for the character after Thor: Ragnarok, things got even worse for him at the start of Infinity War, as he ended up losing everything important to him.

Armed with a new hammer and eye, fans have been unsure about the character's future after the events of Avengers 4. With Hemsworth's contract expiring, it seems like he and the rest of the original Avengers will be getting a proper send off, though a recent Instagram video suggests otherwise for the God of Thunder.

In the video, he thanks the fans for continuing to make Infinity War a success, as it smashes even more records on its way to global domination. He credits fans for making the MCU the Hollywood beast it is today and ended with an interesting little statement, saying that he and the rest of the people in Marvel will try to crank out more of these films "if we let them."

The fact that he included himself in that statement has got fans buzzing about him possibly staying in the MCU after Avengers 4. He is more powerful than he's ever been and it will be interesting to see how Thor is portrayed if he continues to be a prominent member of the MCU.

Avengers: Infinity War is now showing. Avengers 4 hits theaters next year, on May 3.
