Avengers: Endgame is coming back to theaters for the pettiest reason ever and us fans are more than willing to help Marvel Studios topple James Cameron's forgettable blue-furred film. I mean, yeah it's a beautiful movie in terms of visuals but hasn't made much of an impact beyond that. It seems like Marvel is grateful to us for indulging them in their petty behavior as the studio has revealed a new poster that will be released for the film's re-release.
The obvious response? We love this 3000.
While not the most visually-stunning poster or anything like that, it's a nice little wink to the fans who have been supporting them since 2008's Iron Man. It's hard to believe that superhero films were once niche since now we can't go to most comic websites without seeing three or four new superhero movies announced. That's all because of Marvel.
Believe it or not, superhero films aren't the only thing that Marvel has influenced. Due to the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, every other major film company wants to make their own cinematic universe. Very few have succeeded, with Universal's Dark Universe flopping hard and DC only finding their footing recently.
