Atom, Enchantress, And The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Join Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios finally unveiled the characters who will be joining Injustice 2 via Fighter Pack 3 and the announcement turned the internet upside down. Atom will now be joined by Suicide Squad's Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's not just one member of the group either since it looks like the entire group will comprise of one character.

As is the tradition with NetherRealm DLC trailers, the characters from Fighter Pack 2 have been beaten to a pulp. We then see Atom escape an exploding building and witness June Moone turn into Enchantress. The two brawl for a while, with Atom (confirmed to be Ryan Choi) getting the upper hand. Before the two clash again, a kunai is thrown to get their attention and we see the signature turncoat that eventually reveals the Heroes in a Half-Shell.

It's fair to say that no one expected to see the turtles. Fans had guessed characters like Constantine, Rorschach, and Talion from Shadow of Mordor. Seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Injustice 2 is surreal and they should be fairly fun to use.

The end of the trailer reveals that Atom will be available to Ultimate Edition owners on December 12, though no release dates were given for Enchantress and the Turtles. With Hellboy coming out in a few days, we can expect the usual monthly release for these DLC characters. Expect big updates and a few surprises since previous releases gave fans extra Premiere Skins like Bizarro.

Injustice 2 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming out on November 14. Fans that didn't pre-order the Ultimate Edition can upgrade to it via a $39.99 pass, which gives players all the announced DLC characters.
