There's no doubt about it, Apex Legends is the go-to free-to-play multiplayer game out right now. The latest entry into the popular battle royale genre of video games has impressed fans with great character designs, well-designed maps, and fun gameplay, the most important part. If you're playing this game on February 14 aka Valentine's Day aka Single Awareness Day, EA and Respawn have some extra goodies for you.
On a blog post about updates for the game, EA confirmed that there would be some limited-time Valentine's Day items released so fans may want to jump into the game during the day, taken or not. The loot for this sort-of holiday has yet to be shown but we can only hope that it looks cool or is thematic of love without looking too cheesy.
Whatever the case, fans will still be playing since Apex Legends is currently blowing up in popularity. It's clear that this is the game that makes battle royale fun and should provide some stiff competition for Fortnite and Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG). Who would have thought that a fun and well-balanced battle royale game would come from EA?
Then again, the company is teasing a Battle Pass to be announced in the future. It was nice while it lasted.
