After the Success of X-Men: Grand Design, Marvel Announces Fantastic Four: Grand Design

Marvel's X-Men: Grand Design was one of the best things the company has released in recent years, which had artist Ed Priskor detail the group's history in six double-sized comic books. It was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful art and the amazing Treasury Editions released for each series and Marvel will attempt to do this again with Tom Scioli's Fantastic Four: Grand Design.

Like X-Men: Grand Design before it, Fantastic Four: Grand Design will attempt to shorten and retell the history of Marvel's first family. It's not yet known if this will be a trilogy like the X-Men series was but we'll wait and see for future announcements. For now, if you're a fan of Marvel's first family and were bummed when the company initially phased them out, all these new FF comics should make you happy.

Tom Scioli is mostly known for his work in comics like GI Joe vs Transformers, which was a glorious crossover with beautiful old-school art. The man draws very similarly to Jack Kirby, one of his inspirations, and we can't wait to see what these comics will look like in Marvel's beautiful Treasury Editions.
