13-Year-Old Student Makes Impressive Manga Debut


We've seen talented people make a huge impact at a young age before but it might shock some fans to know that a 13-year-old girl just had a successful manga debut. Nana Hoshiki made her debut in a shojo manga magazine called Margaret, where her story Inshin no Yuki or Tidings of Snow has made a huge impact in Japan.

People in Japan are going crazy over Tidings of Snow, as fans on social media have been going praising this story nonstop. The fact that she's only 13 and getting these much people talking seems to ensure that he has a good future in the manga industry. It's not yet known if she will continue going to school though that seems likely.

Tomofumi Arito, a veteran manga editor at publisher Shogakukan, may have had the biggest praise as he said that in his years working he has never seen a 13-year-old like this. While it might be too soon to say that we're witnessing the birth of a legend, we can't wait to see what else Hoshiki has in store for everyone.

Some fans are buying this issue of Margaret so that they can witness Hoshiki's debut, which is crazy. Here's hoping she has a successful manga career.
