Niantic “Working On A Way” Gamers Can Make PokeStop Requests

Niantic has been slowly working on giving fans the updates they've all been waiting for ever since the release of Pokemon Go. Waking up to a sharp decline in active users, the company finally decided to work on better updates and events for gamers.

After teasing the addition of Legendary Pokemon to its roster, Niantic has also expressed interest in hearing out requests for Pokestops. Answering a question from a Pokemon Go gamer on how to ask for a new Pokestop near his/her home, the Niantic Support Twitter account revealed that the developer was finding ways to allow gamers to submit requests for consideration in the future.

While this is not confirmation that the company would accept and see through Pokestop requests willy-nilly, it does assure gamers that the company is thinking of ways for them to check out different cases.

The developer of the augmented reality Pokemon gaming app has recently opened up a way for people to make requests on portal locations in Ingress, so it's very likely that the developer will do the same for Pokemon Go. However, given that most gamers focus are on Legendary Pokemon and other major updates, players may not see the request Pokestop feature for quite some time.
