New Transforming Magic: The Gathering Artifact Card From Ixalan Revealed

The Ixalan previews keep coming as another Magic: The Gathering card from the next set has been revealed, and this time, it's a transforming Artifact called Primal Amulet.

Check out the front half of Primal Amulet:

This is like Goblin Electromancer or Baral in Artifact form as it fits best in Sorcery and Instant-heavy decks. I'm not sure if this card is fast enough in an aggro-heavy format since this card is kind of slow when you play it on Turn 4 but the payoff is worth it once it flips.

As revealed last week, Ixalan will feature pirate-themed double-faced card cards that flips into a Land card. You can check out the mechanics spotlight video below:

Here's the synopsis for Ixalan:

For centuries, the untamed jungles of Ixalan have hidden a coveted secret: Orazca, the city of gold. But no secret can remain undiscovered, and no treasure can be taken uncontested. Unfurl your sails, saddle up a dinosaur, and battle your rivals as you embark on a journey to claim the plane's greatest fortune for yourself!
